BNV Services – CCTV Camera Installation and Security Services
1. Introduction
Welcome to BNV Services. These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the sale, installation, and maintenance of CCTV cameras and related security systems provided by BNV Services (“we”, “us”, or “our”) to the customer (“you”, “your”, or “client”).
By purchasing our services or products, you agree to these terms.
2. Scope of Services
BNV Services provides:
- Supply and installation of CCTV cameras and related hardware
- Configuration of recording devices and software
- Site surveys, consultations, and service maintenance
- Optional remote monitoring and data storage (if subscribed)
The exact scope of work will be documented in a service agreement or quotation.
3. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate site and access details
- Ensure electrical and internet connections are available, if required
- Not tamper with installed devices or software
- Use the system in compliance with local laws, especially with regard to privacy and surveillance
4. Payment Terms
- 50% advance payment is required to initiate the service
- Remaining 50% is due upon completion of installation
- All invoices must be settled within the specified due date
- Late payments may incur service interruption or penalty charges
Prices quoted are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
5. Installation and Delivery
- Installation schedules will be communicated after order confirmation
- Any delays due to customer-side issues (e.g. access, infrastructure) may reschedule the service
- Standard installation includes wiring and mounting; custom requirements may incur extra charges
6. Warranty and Support
- All CCTV products come with a manufacturer warranty (typically 12 months)
- BNV provides free support for 30 days after installation
- Any defects due to misuse, third-party interference, or environmental damage are not covered
- Ongoing maintenance can be subscribed separately
7. Software and Data Use
If your system includes mobile apps or cloud access:
- You are responsible for securing your login credentials
- BNV will not access your footage unless authorized for maintenance or troubleshooting
- Data storage is your responsibility unless BNV is hosting or managing it under a written agreement
8. Limitation of Liability
BNV Services is not liable for:
- Loss or damage resulting from system misuse, client negligence, or third-party access
- Downtime due to power cuts, network failures, or natural disasters
- Legal consequences of surveillance misuse by the client
Our liability is limited to the total value of the product or service purchased.
9. Refunds and Cancellations
Refunds and returns are governed by our Refund and Returns Policy. Key points include:
- Full refunds for non-delivered products
- Replacements for defective items
- No refunds for services already delivered or if cancellation occurs after installation starts
10. Intellectual Property
All content, system designs, documentation, or software provided remain the property of BNV Services or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part without written permission.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
12. Amendments
BNV reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via website or email. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
